Smoothie Bowl

Blend pineapple, banana, almond or coconut milk, oats and a single serving sachet of Akan Moringa. A drizzle of honey can be added into blender or before ready to eat. Pour into bowl and add sliced pear, kiwi, coconut shavings and sprinkle with chia/linseed.

 

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

1 cup frozen pineapple

1 banana

1/4 cup coconut water or almond milk

1/4 cup oats

1 Tbsp. honey, plus additional for serving

1/2 pear, thinly sliced

1/2 kiwi, thinly sliced

2 Tbsp. chia or linseed

1/4 cup coconut shavings

Split Pea & Spinach Soup

Soak split peas overnight, then cook without salt in the water, bring to boil then simmer until soft. While split peas are boiling, fry onions, cut celery fine and add all other ingredients. When split peas are soft add everything together and simmer until ready. Spinach can be added 10 mins before ready. Add 1 single serving sachet of Akan Moringa after serving, can be served with Feta cheese.

INGREDIENTS

500g split peas

2 cloves

300g spinach

1 celery bunch

1 1/2 large onions

4 lt of water (dependent on quantity desired)

1 single serving sachet of Akan Moringa

salt & coriander to taste

Ice Cream

Peel two bananas and freeze. From frozen put bananas into the blender along with half a cup of pistacio nuts, five mint leaves and two single serving powder sachet/2 tsp of Moringa powder. Lastly, add 2 Tbls of Coconut cream or heavy cream and 1 Tbls of honey or sweetner of choice. Blend until smooth and creamy and store in freezer.

2 frozen bananas

1/2 cup pistachio nuts

5 mint leaves

2 tsp/single serving sachets Moringa powder

2 Tbls Coconut milk

1 Tbls honey

Pour content of Akan Moringa single serving powder sachet and honey in the bottom of a latte glass. Heat coconut milk in a saucepan and pour into glass and stir, leaving a quarter of a cup for frothing, use milk frother to airate coconut milk until bubbles form. Pour frothed milk into latte glass, sprinkle cinnamon powder and enjoy.

1 1/2 cups full-fat coconut milk

1 Akan Moringa single serving sachet

1 tsp raw honey or as per taste

1/2 tsp cinamon powder

We love beets….this tasty beetroot juice recipe combines sweetbeets, celery, tangy ginger and sweet apple juice. This one is sooooo simple. Add beetroot, celery, ginger and apples into your juicer. Pour content of Akan Moringa single serving sachet into a small glass bottle, add ice to your fresh juice and pour into glass, shake well and off you go to work or play 🙂

INGREDIENTS

2 apples

1 large beet

1/2 stalk of celery

1 thumb size piece of ginger

1 Akan Moringa single serving sachet

Ice

Add lime juice, half cup water, spinach or kale, mango, Akan single serving powder sachet and grapes in a blender until smooth, adding more water to reach the desired consistency.
